Term 2 Poem

In term 2 i liked Zumba and learning about God.
We danced in the hall and I thought I looked odd.

We did lots of writing and all went to mass.
My writing was long but not very flash.

We learnt orienteering skills and some basketball
The teachers were great and we didn't all fall.

Our 3 way conferences are today.
I hope my mum won’t chase me away.

Imagination Story

I woke up in my bedroom and I saw that I was in ice cream
world. I didn’t know what to do so I asked a person to help me but he said “no there are no rules, you get to do anything you want.” so I said “cool”. It suddenly rained chocolate chips and sprinkles. So I ran back home and got my umbrella and stood in the rain. I walked until I found a man who strangely knew my name, he kidnapped me.

We went to a place where people have awesome adventures. I wanted to run away, but it was awesome, it was not that scary. It had ice cream fountains. When I went where I had to go sleep it was a small place that was old and scary. I was scared I said “I...... want to....... go......... home........” I was shaking a little. The until the man said “it time for you to clean the bathroom and go for an adventure.” I said “no I will stay here until I go back home!” He pushed me to the bathroom, I was sad. I was crying and crying. But instead I cleaned the bathroom and went to have an adventure.

He took me to this place where we had adventures but I was still sad. It stopped raining and came out with an ice cream rainbow. I thought they were going to drop me back home, but instead they dropped me back to the danger zone. Suddenly an angel appeared in front of me, it was glowing and she said “I will save you.” So the angel took me home. She gave me a present I opened it up and inside was ice cream and lollipop! I said “thank you.” I started eating it.

I went back to the real world into my real house into my bedroom and went back to sleep.

Pigeon: Impossible

Plot: It is about a secret agent named Walter and a pigeon. The pigeon wanted to have the doughnut so Walter gave him a little bit of the doughnut but the pigeon didn’t want the little doughnut. The pigeon wanted the whole thing so when Walter left the case open the pigeon fell in the case and the case closed. The pigeon was pressing buttons and flew around in it shooting people. When Walter opened the case he took out the pigeon and threw the doughnut and the doughnut pressed the rocket button. Walter had to fly up to the rocket and blow up the bomb. At the end the bomb came down to the bird and squashed him.

Problem: The pigeon fell in the case and pressed the button to eject the rocket and it was about to blow up Moscow Russia.

Solution: Walter dropped the doughnut and the bird followed it. He made the bomb blow up by shooting a gun.

Your opinion of the story: I love it because it was funny because at the end the bomb came down and hit the bird.

Tom and the Dragon

Tom said “can I go and play at the bridge?” So Tom’s mother said “yes, but be careful because there is a dragon who lives there. He will bbq you and will eat you up. So never go, ever go, inside the cave. He will play a little game of chess and when you win he will blow out his fire and if he wins you will fight him so never fight him, ever fight him, never fight him. Next the dragon will tell you to go on his back. When you go on his back he will tell you to open your eyes and when you look down you will fall down so never look down, ever look down, never look down. His teeth are as sharp as a knife, so never go ever go, never go in. Next he will burn up a dough and make it as a bread.”

Tom was sacred but when the dragon looked at him, he was sacred. The dragon said “My mummy said that if I go to a little boy he will make me do all of the work.” Tom said “ I won’t do that.” So Tom and the dragon became friends.

BASKETBALL FACTS

Anyone can play basketball and we can be in five group or teams.

Basketball is like netball but you have to dribble the ball.

In basketball you are not allowed to hold the ball without dribbling.

You have to be fit if you want to be in the team. If your not fit you can’t be in the team. If you are too thin you can be in the team if you are just right you can be in the team.

Howick Historical Village

My favourite part of Howick Historical Village was the school because it was great I found the teacher very strict and her name was Mrs Mill. It was very cool, there were pens, inks and a chalkboard. The boys had to bow and the girl had to curtsy. We said “good morning Mrs Miller” then Mrs Miller put us in 2 groups. I sat next to Ramonadel (we had to use the same cloth for our ink pen). We were acting, Mrs Miller was acting as the teacher and we were acting as the children. We were in rows. I felt like I was in the 1800’s!

First we did some handwriting and learnt about the world with the map, we learnt how the English people got to New Zealand.

Next we did a spelling game, it was called a spelling bee we had to spell some words and some of the words were hard to spell.

The last thing we did was learning about money. In the 1800’s the dad liked the note money because when he hears it crackle in his pocket he felt rich. The mother put money in the jar and the kids got money from people for doing chores.

Miss G and Andrew were sitting in the back because they were seniors. Seniors means that they are older and had been at school for a long time.

I think I would like being in school in the past because they got to do lots of fun stuff, but I think the teacher was a bit too strict.
