Cross Country

It was an exciting day for St Pius X school because we were having cross country.

We were sitting in a line in our age groups. Parents were there and some babies were there too. The 5 year olds were getting ready......1 2 3 go! Off they went, the students were yelling and cheering! The runners went past the drinking fountain and went past the classrooms and run to the tennis courts and around the church. When the 5 year olds were finished it was the 6 year olds turn.

The 6 year olds did the same thing as the 5 year olds. The
juniors ran the same, the 7 year olds were really fast, my eyes were glued to the cross country.

When the 8 years old were finished it when the seniors turn. They have to run around the street.......1 2 3 go! they ran. When the 13 year old people went it went the 12 year old turn. 1 2 3 go! they went. Now it was the 11 year old. 1 2 3 go! they ran like a cheetah. When the 11 year old went it was the 10 years old. 1 2 3 go! they went. Now finally it was the 9 years old. I was nervous......1 2 3 go! I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

I was holding my drink bottle. When I went to drink my drink I had a drink and I got a stitch, it was really painful. I was power walking, when we got down the hill my legs was out of control and I was running fast. I said to Aurora “this is funny!” and Aurora said “i know!” Aurora and I were running fast. When we finished running Aurora and I were power walking again, we were nearly at the school hill.

We were almost up the hill 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9.... We made it! I was tried, but we had to go inside the tennis courts and run around the block. After running around the block we had to sit down in our age group. I came last but I didn’t care because I was running for fun.

Fractions-Week 5

What I already know about fraction is that you can halve a pie.

What I like about fraction is cutting up the pizza or pie.

A fraction is a division because it cutting the pizza in halves.

Olympics Flame

The Olympic Flame lights when the Olympics starts.

It looks like a flaming, fire flower, it is bright and it smells like gas. If anyone touches the torch their hand will be burnt and sore.

It has been seen in the Olympics all around the world and a person holding a stick lights the torch.

It is special because it was there since the Olympics started.

When the Olympics started the torch light up and when the sports of the Olympics are close that means the torch is not on.

Sacrament

I did a picture about sacrament. We did this because we were learning about sacraments in our R.E. I draw a picture of the sacrament symbols.
